VST troubleshooting in Cubase SX

i'm having some trouble with a couple VSTi's.
i just installed Moog Modular V onto my computer, and the standalone works fine, but when i try to load it up in Cubase, it doesn't show up in the VST Instruments window. i've tried re-installing numerous times, a couple times only installing the VSTi/DXi and still no luck. |

go to your vst plugins folder (should be \Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX\Vstplugins unless you've changed it) and ensure that the file "Moog Modular V.dll" is there somewhere (check subdirectories also)
If it's not, go to wherever you installed Moog Modular (default: Program Files\Arturia\Moog Modular V) and copy "Moog Modular V.dll" from there to your vst folder.
If you already have the dll in your vst folder, then delete it and then uninstall/install the whole thing.
This should take care of your stuff... unless you have a poorly cracked version ;) |
