The annual War of the Worlds event is one usually preceded by a lot of excitement, hype, and planning as the punters organise with their friends to travel to the Melbourne outskirts at Altona to party it up. For this years event, the promoters have split War Of The Worlds into two shows in a move to get the formula right for each respective market.
The WOTW:2060 Intergalactic Trance party will be held on Saturday 25 September at Club QBH, and feature special guest DJs Dave Joy and JK Walker. The WOTW:2060 Deep Space Techno party is on Friday 1 October at the Hi Fi Bar on Swanston St, and will feature Detroit DJ and producer Kevin Saunderson, playing a 3 hour set over 3 decks.
The full lineup for both events is shown below. Tickets are priced the same for both events, so get in now for Early Bird Tickets at $32 + b/fee or later for general tickets at $40 + b/fee. Expect to pay more on the door. Combo tickets are also available for $60. Goodbye Altona!

Saunderson on 3 decks would be interesting, but it'd be a pretty big ask to front up with GK on the next night. :(
Actually wasn't Kevin Saunderson at GK last year? Pretty cool (and funky) stuff if I remember correctly. Eh, maybe next year... |
