Lots of discussion on supersaw's and kick's here, but what about the FX?
Wooshes, revershed cymbals and all that - they are a big part of trance. What do you use? Do you use samples or program yourself?
And if anyone has anything to share, lets upload to the production FTP so all can share ;) |

I used to use other samples for woosh's and sweeps, But recently ive just start making my own, Or just using a softsynth. Using one Key, Holding it and then just bouncing it into a wav file. That way i have a sweep that i can use and that isnt someone elses sample. As far as FX i always add my stereo delays ,and reverb to give it some fullness. Adding reverb really does help with everything..
