Hello Everybody,
Please take some time and review my new vocal trance song:

I was very fortunate to have an amazing singer, with an awesome voice, Ariane Leanza, sing for it and do the lyrics as well.
I want to thank all the TranceAddict members because it was your reviews that enabled me to get better and better over time, and now I am about to promote this song to the radio, and record labels.
Your review is vital, so any comments/suggestions (good or bad) are very much appreciated.

Listening to it now. I like it, but I think you may benefit from some autotune on Ms. Leanza - some places sound a bit out of tune to me. The vocal's could also be a bit more 'impactful' imho. The 1-3-5 arpeggio is a bit dated and could perhaps benefit.
I like your chorused lead synth and the way you go from the song to the instrumental chorus with the guitar.
Something bothers me about the arrangement. It bounces back between the synthy chorus and the 'bare' vocals with the bass-bleep but doesnt really engange me.
I'll stop rambling and let smarter people talk now ;)

Those arps are really dated. Try a sixteenth note pattern with more contour... something more energetic and interesting. You should deffinetly do some autotuning on the voice, even really good singers need it from time to time. All the sounds are kind of weak and old skool sounding, try making them phatter and punchier with layering and compression. Distortion could help too. The arps really need this.
I do like that chord progression though, you could do some wicked stuff with that if you added a suspesion (maybe on the 3th chord of the progression) to make it more uplifting. good luck! keep working.;) |
