It took me a while to beat that level. THe more i kept focusing on beating the race, i eventually ed up close to the end of the race. You could of got lucky on that last race, maybe it wrecked or something and u got lucky. :D

No I breezed through that game in 7 hours until I got to that level. I gave it to 4 of my mates who all beat the game and they couldnt beat the level either. When I used one of my mates games and played that level with his game I beat it.

Didnt really care though got kind of sick of it after a while. I enjoyed Midnight Club 2 a bit better

huh? i can imagine you could quibble between GT2 and GT3 in terms of graphics, features and cars, but it didnt get worse! NFS3 was genre breaking, but High Stakes was crap, and Porsche was good, but not in a NFS way. PS2 Hot Pursuit 2 was entertaining to say the least and despite the Fast and Furiousness-ness of NFSU it was also fun.

Not deep or smart, just fun. GT is different|

i didnt think so. With GT3 atleast you can actually beat the damn game. I dont know anybody who got 100% in gt2. I think there was a bug.

I liked how they threw in old F1 cars in gt3. and Monaco!!! er...should i say cote de jour or something.

As for Highstakes, i think its downfall were the tracks. Hot persuit had amazing tracks, and since you could play them in high stakes, it was all gravy.

high stakes graphics + hot persuit's tracks = great replay value!
(did anybody else find high stakes SUPER easy with the Mclaren?)

the 2nd one doesnt look impressive to me. The screenshots i saw were pretty similar to the NSFU original. I really enjoyed the first :D May be ill DL it when its out :D oh ya, you can also suppposedly roam through the city in the 2nd one.

overall i really like the game, although it did get rather tedious at times

Watch out, the best thing about Burnout 3 is the NFSU 2 demo. Played that to the fullest. This is probably going to be the best import racing game to come out for a long time. If you didnt get Burnout 3 congrats but go rent it to play this demo its sick man. Much different to NFSU 1
Matt
worst NFS game yet.
