| Brett Hull is a Canadian Born person who basically turned his back on his country back in the mid 80's, he says Canada did not want him and the US wanted him but that was because of his ego and that one trait has come back to haunt Brett Hull. This is all because he was not willing to play on the 4th line of an amazing hockey team that won the Championship, it included Gretzky and others. So he jumped to the USA team because he held dual citzenship and because he wanted to play the 1st line, the USA got hammered that year. He is one of the better players to play the NHL game, 3rd leading point getter and total ref crybaby but what he pulled on his own team just takes the cake. He was playing horribly and so was the US National Team and Ron Wilson had no other choice but to bench Hull and bring in other players, they don't have the time to screw around, so Hull goes postal and storms out of practice because he was declared a scratch for a game. His teammates, who are homers and crybabies (chelios, modano and tkechuk) said that he wants the team to succeed badly, but my point about this matter is that Hull should STFU and step aside, last I checked Hockey was a team sport, you lived and died as a team and if you not playing helps the team win, who cares. But Hull had to lash out according to media reports, it shows yet again that Hull cares more about his ego and playing time than his team and that's why the USA National Men's Hockey team has not won Gold in the Olympics since 1980 because it's always about egos, shame really. |

^^^ good for that bitch!!! he doesnt want to play/win like a team and cry about everything then he deserves to be a scratch!!! its like that, that pisses of the parents when their kid looks up to "their hero" and hes being a jackass!!!!

Hm, interesting. I never followed Hull as a player, just teamwise. I'd have to agree with you though, it is a team sport, and you can't always be the attention whore if you want to succeed.

but yeah...I feel bad for Bobby Hull for what his son did. Bobby was a far better player too ... course I'm a biased Jets fan with a plethera of Bobby's memorabilia :) |
