yeah but how long do we have to keep moaning about it before producers take note. If they're so short of new ideas for good tracks they should just retire and leave it to people who have them |
Exactly. The current rate of remakes/new remixes/whayever is just so ridiculous i could cry.. what the f00k are the producers thinking, if anything? IMO one massive thing to blame is ASOT, it should be changed to a monthly show instead of weekly. Would give us more time to digest the new tunes and dig them up while waiting for next month's show, not like it is now.. With the current rate of ASOT trancers released, we will suffocate here soon because we don't have enough time to listen the current tracks when yet another batch of new ones is pushed out. SO whether ASOT should slow down to monthly or the industry change the idealism and lengthen the gap between releases. Something must be done!
Just my 5 cents (Finland doesn't use single cents). |

i suppose they are listenable a few, maybe even a couple of, times in my case, although i see absolutely nothing new that they bring to the scene... |

that's the point, at the moment all these remakes are diluting down the amazingness of the early tracks to a point where in a few years time it'll be hard to look at any tracks without cringing at the thought of their remakes |

i agree nearly to the fullest extent, however i've nothing against The Digital Blonde's remake of Point Zero. As a matter of fact, virtually everything (and i put emphasis on the new stuff) that Ricky Smith produces is mint...this is indeed one of the sole Trance producers that i relish more and more with time and his progress in production skills.
As for other producers, including top ones like Tiesto, Ferry, Avb, etc....imo their new is quite often a hit or miss production.
I may've digressed somewhat from the subject but i hope i've made sense :)

| the alphazone mix is by far the best! the alphazone style is what the song needed so its not boring imo. reminds me of "dave joy - second chase (alphazone mix)" in a way. a wonderfull club tune. the others are weak compared to alphazones mix. |

The Alphazone remix is the best of a relatively poor bunch with Mike Shiver's being the only other one i'd even play now |
i agree, markus kill the song :( i dont have any feeling with this remix, too monotone imo.
Mike Shiver remix is excelent.
For ever i will love this Benno production. |
