PtokaX Help!!

i cant start up my hub for some reason..
i dont have much more info then that.....
ive registered my domain name, ive filled in all the info in PtokaX, i click start hub, and i try to manually connect to the hub in dc, but it doesnt work, even when PtokaX says its running....
thanks in advance to anyone who has any help or ideas :) |

does running a hub behind a firewall require port forwarding, or a dmz?

Yes, you can forward a port :p
Aditionally, try the DC++ forums, theyre almost certainly going to be more helpful than anything you will receive here *cough* brickmaster |

| is there anything i can do other than a DMZ or forwarding a port, because i have 5 computers asigned to my router. ill have to give them all static ips..which is just a pain in that ass. my ip shows up as 24.84.193.185, the same for each computer. |

| Have you tried having others connect to it? I know when I run Shoutcast I can't connect to it, but everyone else can, so it could be the same in this situation. |
