you have any proof that he is not telling the truth?

Look I don't have anything against Sirocco the person, but I do have something against Sirocco's actions. As I've already said, I wouldn't have made a new thread about it and just left my original post in his original thread, but I can't find it anymore. I feel something like this needs to be out in the open, as the pack is not 100% original. I wouldn't want to be the only other person that knows something is not ok to use in a piece, only to have it used later on by someone else, and having that someone else get sued because of it.

Telling the truth in regards to what? I have proof that a single loop was not his, but that's it.

Again, no, but I have never said that I do, or have I accused him of such an action. There is, however, an implication that this sort of finding will naturally bring to the forefront.

I would, except I don't feel this is something between simply Sirroco and I. I feel that since it was available for public download, it affects everyone who downloaded it, and therefore needs to remain in the public domain.
Again, Sirocco, don't do anything to harm yourself, and don't do anything to harm others. Life will go on. |

Rank 1 - Airwave and Novascotia - Novascotia (Armin van Buuren Remix) uses the excact same loop.. :whip:
so how come nobody has mentioned the posibility that the loop Sirocco "made" and the loop in "Ogenki Clinik" are from the same sample CD? and yeah.. who cares if Sirocco`s loop is from a sample CD.. he is sharing it.. to us.. :tongue3 |

Just my thoughts - Sirocco, you've shared some superb kicks for which I think a LOT of people are gratefull. As for Tranc3s comments, well I can understand his good intentions, I don't think he was trying to be malicous - just warn people of the . The 'other' thread seems to have been turned into a flame Sirocco thread, althought not necessarily by Tranc3.
It's issues like this that make me VERY wary of sharing samples of mine. I've got stacks of samples, some from CDs, some downloaded - I don't know where 1/2 of them have come from so I'm not sure I want to post em and get done over by the TA mafia :D
Anyway, I reckon this topic has nearly run it course - Sirocco, don't do anything silly, and everyone else just chill out!! |
