View this Thread in Original format

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any good recommendations for VST filters. I currently use the buzz generator filter 2 plugin that comes with fruity, but Im thinking there must be better sounding plugins out there.

Can any1 advise?

Cheers for the feedback.

That Antares looks brilliant, but complex also.

Im sure it will sounds awesome tho, even without playing with all the settings.

Checking out the Waldorf D-Pole Filter now. Just doing a google search.

The Waldorf looks great aswell, a lot easier to use and understand. Think I might be making a purchase this weekend.:D

Quad Frohmage
Izotope Trash

Quad Fromage - Doesn't seem to offer any extra for the cash.

Izotope Trash - Looks v good, got distortion, delay & amp thrown in aswell. Gunna try out the demo and see what I think.

The Waldorf's looking the best so far. Has any1 got any of these filters, maybe give a review to how easy they are to use, sound quality, processor take up etc.
Etherium
PSP Nitro. Amazing.
Monkey Mouse
If you weren't in the UK, I would sell you my old copy.

Waldorf D-Pole is a virtually modelled filter from the original analog Waldorf Microwave's filter (Microwave is an wavetable synth). I have the Waldorf XT that has a lot of monster and incredible filters. And yes, XT has audio input to its filter/envelope.
Oh, Waldorf isn't any company. Waldorf is a legend!

I bought the Antares in the end. V V nice to work with, and not as complex as I originally thought.

Thanks for the advice guys.
