Hey Guys!!!!
Last time I was working so hard and i'm very happy, becouse my new Trance Song is positive :) (This is my original song)
I'm waiting for your opinions & suggestions.

| Starts off as goa and quickly changes to uplifting. Nice ideas throughout, but there's something a little odd about the kick, sounds like it's behind instead of in front of me. Nice uplifting breakdown around 3:25. :) |

| i think the kick has an inverted pahse? or maybe its just badly panned or stereo. in fact the whole track sounds like it has inverted phase... that cant be good. sort that kick out then this will be cool as . |

| I have to agree with the reactions above. Try to listen your mix in mono, to detect out-of-phase instruments. A stereo mix has to sound right on mono, otherwise you are likely to have some phasing problems. There needs to be some work done on the beat. Keep on goin'. |

| i had a look at it in a wave editor, phasing is infact perfectly normal... so i guess just that kick sample is wierd as ... try a different one! |

The whole track sounds like it has real potential. Here are a couple of things to check:
1. Are your monitor speakers connected propperly? Both have red & black cables connection in the right places?
2. Are you audio leads going into the computer propperly? Right and Left going into right & left?
3. Check the mix in mono.
4. Have you used 3D Space / Stereo enhancement plugins? - These are dangerously crap.
5. Check for crappy panning you made by mistake??? :(
Thats all I can think of if Mike is sure this aint out of phase. Would be a shame to let such a good track go to waste. |

I never tried my songs to listen in mono. Thx for your advices.
Right Now i'm finishing my remix of Robert Nickson - Spiral

Hm too many fx of the same kind at start. It's a simple noise and makes the mix pretty muddy!
Kick drowns a bit.
Too much reverb on the clap.
Pretty standard synth, but I guess it's ok.
Climax after break could be more banging, try to beef it up with a snareroll or some other fx.
Melody doesn't hook me.
Sorry for flaming this, it just ain't my style i guess. For my feeling a few things are just not right here.. Production quality is ok tho. |
