Hm this is serious stuff. I live in the netherlands, we are used to this stuff i guess. Im sitting behind my computer in my house, in my room on the first floor. and the water would still get into my room if it would break thru the dikes and the 'watervloedkering' (rough english: Waterfloodturn-installation) i guess.....

Its just a very active hurricane season. There have been worse.

Don't believe Floridians can cure the hurricane onslaught, but maybe they can focus on curing the hanging chads for November. Seems like amateur hour down there when it comes to voting.
