Hey can someone tell me where I can find synths/instruments for Fruityloops of which the sounds resemble that of a Roland JP-8000 or JP-8080? If not, how bout any Roland JP-8000/8080 vsti plugins available for cubase?
Either way, I am looking for the sound of a Roland, particularly the main instruments in songs like "4 Strings - Into the Night (Take Me Away)" or "Witness of Wonder - Emotions in Motion" or pretty much any of the popular synths you hear in this soundset sample at
Soundset Samples

also...i got one more question...such powerful instruments as the ones on the sample site i put up, are those so awesome sounding from the instrument itself? or is it just some basic instrument, but with certain effects applied to it, perhaps some sort of echo or somethin to make it sound so brilliantly trancifying? |

thanks, but for some reason vsts and I dont work well with each other...lol, and i dont like the fact that their plugins...are there any other available small programs, that are stand alone in their separate windows, and they let u tweak a similar sounding instrument as the Roland, and let u save it as a wav? |

eh, you can just do it in FL Studio with Vanguard as a VSTi then export the result to wav. you can export the entire song or export everything as individual patterns.
other instruments that have tha jp8000 kind of sound
analogue to digital supersaw plus
superwave trance pro |

If you own a copy of Cubase, another decent option is to open Fruity as a vst in Cubase. This wont dramatically improve your sound quality, but it does expand the quality of the tools you subsequently have to work with. |

k thanks...now i got another mindboggling question...
i connected my yamaha keyboard piano to the computer via line in, and when i press a key on the piano, i can hear it fine on my computer speakers...however, this is the problem...
on my yamaha (which has its own built in speakers), theres an echo effect button, that when activated, each note u press, you hear it 4 times (echos 4 times, fading each time) but now that i have it connected through line in into my computer soundcard, with the effect button on, the notes that i press dont sound the same on these computer speakers...for instance, instead of echoing 4 times, the note i press, u hear it once as u press it, and then after a short delay you hear the last two echos (basically skips the second echoing sound) and this really kills the effect...
whats going on? any suggestions to why when i connect through my computer i lose part of the echoing sound? |

Vangaurd is cool for making jp like sounds. You should check out superwave pro or trance pro synths also. The can make some of typical jp leads and pads. |
