New to NYC + under 21 = sucks nuts!

Hey all,
just recently moved to nyc for school and coming from a place where there really isn't a legal drinking/clubbing age, it really sucks being here! perhaps i just don't know the tricks, if any, to get into these places..i finally have the opportunities to check out some of the artists that i've been dying to see the last 3 years and i just happens to be that they're playing in places that i can't get into...anyways, that's just my rant and a quick hello :)

Get an ID..a really good one. If your 18..its gonna be worth it for the next couple of years. |

welcome to nyc, and you think the drinking age is bothersome? lols we've adapted to that long time ago, just wait till you witness some other nuances of new york...such a great city with horrible limitations!
anyways welcome to NYC and check out the TFST.NYC parties (if ur over 21) lols anyways hope u find your niche |

sup elena, i see youve finally translferred to nyu.. welcome to nyc :)
lots of underaged girls use their friend's id or someone they know that are 21... clubs are way more lenient here towards girls, all they really check is the age on the id not necessarily if you look like the picture or not.. good luck cuz all the good parties are 21+ including ours =P...:p |

| sup elena..i remember u from the ol skewl ta chat haha but yea, nyc sucks. i just came back from toronto and ing loved the 19 drinking age there. but yea, make a friend that looks like u whose 21 and ur set, just ask her too mail in for a new license and u pay for it and then u will have a id that u can use till ur 21 :)...wish i can find some1 to do that for me. its harder then it seems but u might be able to manage |

yeh... fer real, there's too many suicides.. apparently the first girl who died this year was from a coke overdose tho.........i have fun w/ my stuff, but i never go overboard. |
