The Streets are awesome. The video for this new track is not what I was expecting after hearing the song.

You’d think with a number one album, number one single (same week no less) and triple platinum album sales, the man like Skinner wouldn’t have any fancy tricks left up his sleeve. How wrong you would be. Released on September 27th, Blinded By The Light picks up where Weak Become Heroes left off. Cleverly depicting another side of clubbing whilst continuing the story of Mike, his girlfriend and his friends, it pays homage to the kind of night we have all had and will no doubt have again.
Wrapped in dense smacky beats it’s one of the most truly original tracks from the widely acclaimed ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’. If Weak Become Heroes is Mike’s “second summer of love” then Blinded By The Light is most definitely his comedown. But don’t let that put you off, it’s yet another example of Skinner’s genius story telling and observation. Witty, sad yet always welcoming, you should sit back and bathe in all it’s glory.
LOL.
I have got my name already on their mailer so if they come back into town I don't miss it. I am pissed I missed their last show here at the Opera House.
