Day from HELL!! What should I do?

From the moment I walked out of my house to go to work this morning I knew it was going to be bad. The first thing I see when I approach my car is that some contruction workers were doing work on the roads and splattered some tar on my car.
If things couldnt get any worse I am in the parking lot of starbucks and a Red Corvette backs into my car while getting out of a parking spot and proceeds to leave the parking lot so I have to chase him down not even getting out of my car to see the damage yet. I drive after him honking the horn and he still doesnt stop so finally I cornered him at a stop sign and got out of my car and told him where is he going he backed into ended me. The impact was like a straight thump on the wheel well of my car and it slightly move the panel in but there is no red paint on my car and not much damage but I had already had damage to the car on that side but he made it worse and there is no way to prove that he did it, I didnt see anything on his rear bumper either. So afterwards he proceeds to call me crazy saying he never hit my car and drives off. Funny enough his license plate was "E MANN". I went on the dmv site to see if he had any unpaid parking tickets because all you need is a license plate and it tells you the ticket cost and the location it was incurred so I can try to see if he works around my job and where he may be parking that car so I can insure that his tires get a lil leaky on Monday morning but no luck and nothing listed.
So what should I do? I was thinking about situtaion #1 (the tar) I should probably take pics and write a letter to the city but I dont know how that works and if they will even do anything about it. From what I hear auto stores sell tar remover I guess I will check that out, and for situation #2 I dont know if I should call the police or what? |

Writing a letter to the city probably won't get you anywhere, but it's worth a try, if only just to with them. :p I don't know about calling the police about that other guy; don't you need witnesses? I guess tar remover and fixing that dent is the way to go. :( Sorry you had such a bad car day... and damn you're hardcore, wanting to get that guy back... yeaaaaa go Z!!! Hope the rest of the day goes better!
Oh, and can you call me sometime today? I don't have your number. :p |

Check ur pm ;) yes I am very hardcore when it comes to getting revenge. Revenge can be most fulfilling if the game is played right :)
He would never think in a million years that I could track him down but the situation is pretty predictable. If he is a regual starbucks customer that works in the area he is probably getting some coffee on his lunch break or on his way to work, starbuck is across the street from our huge office building so I do have friends with windows facing that direction. If he is a regular there he will be seen again and be dealt with. Otherwise you must beleive me I am a very nice person, anyone will tell you. I just dont like being taken advantage of or underestimated :whip: :whip: :happy2: |

| if u have tar on ur car all you need is prep all. it takes it right off iv used before on regular paint metallic paint passats maximas and gs300's so dont say it wont work and it will mess anything up.lol.. just DONT confuse it with PAINT THINNER... maybe that will brighten ur day?. i had a stupid gypsy trying to fix someones car in a lot and i have a very light mist of white paint on mine. not noticable but for me its "all over the car" things, so things like this happen to everyone. |
