| Anybody play this yet? What do u think of it? I bought it the day it came out and I'm hooked on it! It's pretty scary too. |

Arrgh!
I needed to get a game a couple of days ago and I couldnt decide on this, ICO, Madden 2002 or NHL 2002. The only game of all those Ive played is the Ico demo and it was the . I needed a long/multiplayer game so I considered SH2 but got hockey cuz I really wanted it. I ordered from Amazon so i dont even have it yet but I saw the commercials for silent hill 2 today on tv, and that game looks bombass! I just need more money, hopefully Ill find it used or at least get to play it at some point! Lucky bastard...late/

| Yeah this is ps2, right now some really good games are coming out. I only have one right now too: Gran Turismo 3, its the . I just decided I needed something else. Any of the games I mentioned above are worth getting. Ico is like if Zelda had sex with Myst, and the game only took 10 hours to beat. Its art tho, easily the most beautiful game I have seen on ps2. Silent Hill 2 looks cool, sort of a psychological Resident Evil (ie no boo scares) lots of fog and eerie creepiness. SSX is supposed to be really good, its snowboarding and I can dig, but I have only played it a couple of times so I cant say its awesome or not, its also cheap right now. Tony Hawk 3 will be the when it comes out apparently youll be able to fight pedestrians- haha. Metal Gear Solid will be killer too but now out yet. late/ |

Games to get: Gran Turismo 3, Madden 2001 (or 2002), Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy X, Half-Life, Grand Theft Auto 3, Ace Combat 4, Devil May Cry, WWF Smackdown!: "Just Bring It" (For those that like wrestling this is going to be king of all wrestlers...even though I hate wrestling), Max Payne, James Bond 007 in...Agent Under Fire, Police 911 (it will have that cool adapter where u dodge the bullets, for those that have seen this game in the arcades), Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3.
All of these games are either out or are coming out by the end of the year (Except Final Fantasy X & Max Payne).

XBox or Gamecube don't have half as many games coming out for it, and most of the games in development look pretty good too! |

| Well it is guaranteed that the Gamecube games ill be the Nintendo has the best in house producers in the biz, and outside, with Rare. Rogue Squadron 2 looks better than the actual movies in terms of realism! late/ |

| Sure, Nintendo does make great games but not enough of them, and Rare is just about the only other company I like that produces strictly for Nintendo. I used to be a Nintendo fan (I really didn't like PSX until about the last 2 years of it's life) but I've come to realize that they don't have as much as Sony. O yeah, Nintendo now has complete rights to Resident Evil... |

| Ok, so this is the deal I have a test tomorrow and the day after, Physiology and Calculus and Amazon.com pulls a quick one on me and ships my game in one day! Thanks amazon! Honestly the quickest ship evah, but can I hold them responsibble for em failing my tests? Damn you hockey!!! On the subject tho, have it but havent played it yet, must study but ill keep everyone posted on NHL 2002. ha late/ |

Silent Hill > Resident Evil. There are points in Resident Evil that are definently scary and make u just want to run out the door 'cus your so scared about what's going to happen next. but Silent Hill has that moment ALLLL throughout the game. It's truly the scariest game i've ever played. Not to mention how damn complex that story is.
but i heard that Silent Hill 2 isn't as good as the original, storywise. The monsters look freaky (especially the animations), but they are not actually very scary. Eh, o well, i'll try and check it out if i can ever get my parents to get an M rated game. |

| Ah man, your parents actually follow that rating system? I didn't even think about it when buying that game lol...they should have carded me or something @ the store, but I didn't have any problem getting it LoL. |

| well i dont' really like sports games, so i'll prob get silent hill 2 or GT3. and i remember back when i was a "kid" playing the first resident evil...i would play for like 20 min and turn it off, then play jumpstart. hahaha and isn't gamecube out now. i've seen some websites that have it. |
