ok i found out using search that extended play means that it includes more songs
but why is EP cheaper than non EP?
tbh
Supply and demand influences?

i dunno, maybe because an average listener would go for the regular, while a dj would go for the E.P, for mixing purposes. Since there are less djs than listeners, i guess it would make sense to charge the bigger market more. In a sense a dj would help to get a song out to teh masses by playing it, so maybe to encourage that the E.P. is cheaper. All this is pure conjecture, but i thought i'd throw my 5 cents in, :)

I doubt this is always true but usually an EP will have a few different songs on it while a normal single will have one song with a few remixes of it (of course not all singles only have that one song on them either).
