I just went to a heineken thirst party where Tijs played for a whole hour (WOW!, that's a lot...NOT!). Went up to him to take a pic and he was like sure, come on, let's take one. Then his frickin' manager comes out of nowhere, sorry, no pictures. He repeated this like 25 times before he ran off. First, I'm like take a pic. NO! Oooooooooooooook, can he give me an autograph? NO! Whhhhhhhhhha, can I just shake his hand? NO! I'm like, BITCH, you are about this close from being slapped. Then I go around the VIP section, and we catch Tiesto coming downstairs, with his manager trailing behind. I'm like, Tijs, come on, take a pic. He comes, we take the pic, fine. Then I tell him this:
"Hey, nice to meet you! Listen. Armin was here in march, he gave me burned with desire autographed. Ferry was here last fall, he gave me punk autographed. Tijs, you are the missing one, my collection is not complete. Could you spare me a vinyl?"
Response: Sure, just come tomorrow. (He didn't have his vinyl bag on him, and he is supposed to play tonight for at least 2 hours)
So a friend of mine is doing the interviews, he did one today and will do one more tomorrow. I'll write a letter to him bitching about his manager and to let me have a vinyl of his, see what he says.
On a side note, two blondies rolled up a joint in the VIP section and got Tijs smokin' some doobies:) He says, "Damn, I haven't smoked this much in Holland!" 15 minutes later he rides out with his friend, Nick, and the two blondies. My friend knows both chicks and said that one was telling him that she wants to suck off Tiesto soooo bad. Funny...those DJs get pretty much anything, eh? Wait, doesn't Tijs have a wife?!...oh, well;)
BTW, he did sing a card for me too, and a picture, not bad. Post you the pic early next week. |

Shiiiiiiiiiiit, probably anything could come into play after a joint and a couple of champagnes. That does affect judgement and that's why I have never tried weed and I don't think I'm going to anytime soon... And even if I'm drunk, I know where to stop cuz I know it's just not worth it... you would understand it if you had a gf like mine! |

| Back to the topic, the thirst security people won't let GUYS anywhere near the dj booth, only girls who dance good, look good. WTF!!! When Armin was over he signed 10 autographs and shook 10 hands before he would put the next vinyl on... That just shows how much Armin really cares about his fans! and Tijs is just about marketing. Well, I don't really want to argue this, although Tijs is his manager's bitch... |
