I'm about to buy some old PUSH records online only problem is I can't find a sample anywhere so I'm hoping someone can help me out.... Either by posting mp3s here or private messaging me and I'll give you my e-mail address...
I really want to grab the exact verson of a track played by DJ Tiesto @ Innercity (I think it was 1999) it is the first track he plays it is just called "Anthem" under the tracklist... under Discogs I figured out I think it was originally called "The Real Anthem" and now is called "Universal Nation" I've found some online record shops that can sell me Universal Nation but they don't have samples...I am unsure if I should just get the original mix or if I should hunt down a vinyl with the DuMonde mix... If someone has an MP3 of the DuMonde Mix that would be cool... Also if someone has a sample of PUSH - firewall I would really like to hear this too... Thanks |

Juno has a sample of the Dumonde remix: http://www.juno.co.uk/IP/IF149976-01.htm. Unfortunately they mixed up the samples of Zoo Future and Universal Nation, so you have to download the Zoo Future sample to listen to the Dumonde remix of Universal Nation. |

the one at the start of the tiesto cd is push - universal nation (live version) i think
and there is no tune called push - firewall |

Hmmm...
That's strange are you positive there is no track "Firewall"?? It is listed for sale on 12" at www.recordstore.co.uk/ Under Discogs it is only listed under remixes (meaning PUSH remixed somebody else's track) under a CD release but sometimes Discogs doesn't have all the differnt realeses and labels that have come out so I am thinking it probably had been realased on vinyl that's why it is for sale... could be wrong though.
Oh and hey thanks guys for the feedback... I will go and check Juno.co.uk for a sample... |

Yeah, it was the live version of Universal Nation on the Innercity CD, and was released on the b-side of Cosmonautica on a few Bonzai releases, eg, this one: http://www.discogs.com/release/43038
As for Firewall, probably a mislabel. |

Yep the sample on Juno.co.uk helped me out. Now I know... I think the Dumonde Mix is pretty boring so I'll just buy the original mix vinyl... thanks..
Hope someone knows about firewall...

Sorry to be picky but i was wondering... I got 2 versions of Universal Nation on computer...One from Tiesto @ Innercity (1999 I think) and another verson almost exactly the same from I think it is the original from a Gatecrasher CD. Anyway what I really want to know is, Is the "Live Mix" B-side off Cosmonautica what Tiesto played @ Innercity?? or did he play the original (like off the Gatecrasher CD) and then they recorded it @ innercity and whacked it on the B-side of Cosmonautica after innercity?
I want to get the track that Tiesto played @ Innercity. When I listen to the live recording of Tiesto this version has some unreal synth effect build ups that aren't on the Gatecrasher version but since I don't have a mixer yet... I don't know if this was tiesto muckin with his mixer, wich I could do later(when I get mine) or if he was playing a Remix off a differnt release... so bottom line is I don't know whether to go to the bother of hunting down the b-side or just buy the plain original mix (wich I can get pretty easy). |

so the one tiesto is spinning is not the original mix |

OK thanks for clearing that up. Much appreciated. I'm gonna go try and buy Cosmonautica (with the Universal Nation live mix b-side)... NRGmusic.com recons that they can order it in so I'll give it a go.. plus they recon they got "Kay Cee - Millenium Stringz" in stock!
