Ok, maybe im crazy. I know I have this song... Back in 99 I burned this on a cd to listen to in the car while driving around for work. My friend always asked me the name of it and I could never remember (always wanted to say it was katana - silence). It has this melody (that is in so many songs), which was probably derived from that old song "send me an angel". Anyway, haven't found it yet but here is a list of songs I came across on my HD that in some way (maybe only a small part) remind me of this:
