Review: Josh Gabriel

Good night overall . Josh played good set, but I did not like his mixing. I know that he mixes on his computer, I don't care that much about it, but sometimes the track would stop and the vocals on the other one just start and everyone would stop moving for a minute or so - that I did not like. The sound in Guv was also , after visiting Boa couple of weeks ago I can really tell. The track of the night for me was Yimanya, my current favourite : ))
Too bad Dave Dresden did not come ( for whatever reason), I really liked his set last winter. |

but good tunes played, our drunk friend knew how to beat the out of the sound system though. i enjoyed. |

Josh Gabriel's set was a crowd pleaser - lots of tracks for ppl to get into (w/mixes of lots of well known tracks & artists). I rather liked it that way! Plenty of crowd interaction too...
Guv was quite bearable in terms of heat & # of ppl so it was all good.
Definitely a good night! |

i was exhausted for some weird reason (prolly LOL..still hah!!).
laur and myself left around 3am...gabriel was good..but nothing spectacular...southern sun was the song of the night for me :)..
should be all rested and ready to rip these legs apart come picotto/liebing |

I almost decided against coming out for this one...but I'm glad I came out. :)
Definitely a good night! Had fun! Saw some faces I hadn't seen in a LONG time and also met some new peeps. Nice to finally meet dnmr. :)
