I figure everyone knows how this works by now, but just in case you don't I'm going to explain.
ID Contest 15:
Basically I've tried to put in a decently diverse set of samples. There's some house, trance, techno, prog, and even a few downtempo tunes (something that I think's been missing in the past contests). I've put in a few tunes that should be quite easy, as well as a couple that I expect very few (if any) to get. Everything else is in between. The goal (quite obviously) is to identify as many tunes as possible and send your answers to me. You can e-mail or PM your results to me. If you e-mail your results, make sure to mention your TA name.
Point System:
There are 50 samples to identify, each of which is 15 seconds long. You get 1 point for guessing the correct artist, title, or remix. So, remixed tracks are worth a possible 3 points, and original mixes are worth 2. For example, let's say that Junkie XL - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix) is one of the samples.
Junkie XL - ??? --> 1 point
??? - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix) --> 2 points
Junkie XL - Beauty Never Fades (DJ Tiesto Remix) --> 2 points
Junkie XL - Breezer (DJ Tiesto Remix) --> 3 points
In the case of Original Mix, Club Mix, or Radio Edit, no extra points will be given.
Contest Timetable:
The contest begins today, September 12th, and will end on October 12th. Results must be sent by 18:00 GMT on October 12th, anything after that will not count. Results should be up by October 14th.

So what, this site isn't just about trance, nor does it say anything anywhere about the contest having to be about trance either. Stop whining. |

some cool tunes in this one, i appreciate the variety
seems like you tried a bit too hard to make it difficult though, with all the downtempo tunes you know noone is gonna get right eheh
i have about 9 and don't think i'll get more :/ |

Draw a line? You can put in your ID contest whatever the you want. Just don't expect many people to enter when you add loads of more obscure/different stuff than usual. |
