Henry Fonda- My Impressions

Last night I went to Spundae to check out the Henry Fonda Theater since Spundae/Godskitchen Moved over there.
When I got there there where 3 lines. One for the Comp list that was to the side of the bulding and the Pre-sales and Guest list where at the front of the buliding.
When I to the door there where 2 security guys. One looked at my id the other looked in my bag. They where nice though. Once I walked in side I was in a huge outside patio. There was a DJ out there with a few tables to sit down at.
I then walked to the main floor and right by the door in was a securty guy just standing there. Once in side I saw more security. There is deffently a lot more securty presence At the Henry then there was at Circus.
The sound was a little to loud. umm ok it was loud. They took the old concert sound system out and placed in a new club sound system. It needs to be fine tuned. The Highs where too high. You could barly hear any one you talked to.
The Dance floor is pretty big. Bigger then Avalon's but smaller then circus. In Front of the DJ they placed what looks like speaker boxes. On top of these boxes there are realllllly bright lights that move all around. They also put plants there. It reminds me of Mayan, but the DJ is closer to the ground. With the Stage set up it is hard to get up close and personal with the DJ.
Speaking of the lights I did not see them all. It was a house night last night so they did not use the laser and such. But the Vissuls where really cool!
I then went outside to check out the outside patio. Now this area is nice. There are palces to sit and clill and it looks over the city of Hollywood. Music is up there as well.
I counted at least 8 diffent bars in the place. Drinks range from 7-9 bucks and they do not measure out the shots like the do at Circus.
I then went to the front of the buliding to check out how they where getting people in too the club. They do check ids but I don't know how well. Or if they can spot a fake. They also search threw everything. No Pens or Gum allowed. ( I did not have to throw mine away) Also Some people where told no Camaras. WTF! ( I am going to look into that one today that is a LAMEEEEEE Rule) The rest of the Staff where rude too! :(
Over all I like the Henry Fonda. It just needs a little work. ( that I will talk to the right people for today) For the past Year or so I have been going to Circus all most every Saturday. So it will take me awile to get used to my new home away from home.

LOL it helps when The Clubs are 2 blocks away from each other... It makes it easier to hop that way ;)

It was Nice meeting you last night btw!

I was on the comp list for that night and they didn't even look for my name on the list.. the girl just wrote it down and then crossed it out. she did that for all my friends too (we all showed up about 10 mins apart) which was kinda strange. The club sound was way better than the sound was for a concert I was at a few months back. The sound was horrible before so that was what I was expecting but it wasn't that bad. The place never got too packed, it was kinda funny seeing some people "nordi-tracking" or whatever, I havn't seen that for years, and especially to house music, and I saw this one guy all etarded out, pretty funny . drinks are typical hollywood prices (well drinks that is).. beer ranged from $4 for a coors light to $6 for a newcastle. you can roam around the area for a parking spot on the street if your a cheapass like me, or u can pay $8 to park in any of the parking lots. my biggest praise is that it remained nice and cool inside (maybe because there wasn't that many people) but it was nice not to be sweating like a mofo.
