I need a good FREE adware remover program. Some stupid ad keep popping out and using "hijackthis" doesnt work.
I already googled but most of the programs have to be paid.
Pls help |

| I have the same problem. =\ I run Ad-Aware like 8 times a day, and Spybot doesn't detect anything. |

2) Stop visiting dodgy porn sites |

and if you cant hack not visiting these dodgy porn sites just use a firewall...

Install Ad-Aware and Spybot. I see that you've done that.
Install a decent anti-virus program (there's plenty of free ones out there, I've been using Grisoft AVG Antivirus).
Install a firewall (ZoneAlarm works great and it's free too!)
Stop installing dodgy software (in particular most p2p programs, they're the worst!)
And above all, stop using Internet Explorer!!!!
Use Mozilla, Firebird, or Opera. Plenty of nice fully featured 99% compatible browsers out there. |

Well, a good quick fix would be to use Webroot Spysweeper, unfortunately you have to pay if you want to use it longer than a month. But if you need it fixed now...
Use these three:
Adaware [free]
Spybot Search & Destroy [free]
Webroot Spysweeper [trial]
If that doesnt fix it, ill be suprised... unless its that begin2search.com bar ... DAMN thing |
