Third remix of this & the original isn't even properly finished yet... gahh I suck ;)
Listened to it a few times now but can't pick out anything other than what I said before.. just the main hihat needs replacing with something stronger & the main lead sounds slightly off stereo-wise. It sounds good.. not not QUITE up to Icone's remix but still thumbs up :) |

sure I've reviewed this before
you are pushing the bass drum too hard in the intro - and the hats are sounding ropey as a result
nice filling bass
builds pretty nice
like the laid back synth that comes in through 1:40 - tis a fine builder
and it makes you wait...
and wait..
then she breaks - that string is very weedy - beef her up
in my humble - arround 3:00 it's overwashed in reverb and sounds muddy
gets better at 3:30
could do with some more interesting percs

This is a really good remix mate, although im not overly keen on a couple of the sounds used, like for the bassline sound right at the beggining. Other than that, to say you did it on software you dont use its very good indeed. I wouldnt be able to change software, im too used to what i use now!:D
I like the lead synth, sounds quite er... raw, if thats the right word! maybe dirty would be better!! very nice.:D |
