When they say it's "digitally remastered", are they just talking out of their asses or have they actually done something?? I mean, why couldn't they have completely remade some of the special effects shots?? That would be awesome, seeing all those shots remastered up to todays standards. Which to be honest, is what I thought they'd done when they re-released them. But noooo, they couldn't manage that. :(

I thought when they put em in the theaters that's what they did. when the death star blew up the explosion was different, if I remember correctly. So I think they DID redo some of the special FX. |

Yeah - but that still doesn't save Jabba in ep.4 from looking like he was cut and pasted in fscking Windows 95 Paint :(
Amazon is selling the trilogy for about $42 - that seems like a good enough deal to just pick up anyways :D |

You bring out the nerd in me.
It's because Obi-Wan doesn't actually die til Vader slays him WHILE Obi-Wan's a grandpa. And you see Anakin as a young dude because these ghosts that you see are representing the Light Side. The last time Anakin was with the Light Side was Hayden Christensen era. |
