they have awesome productions but their live sets...omg a cow chewing grass for 10 minutes would be more entertaining

They were nothing close to Sleep Dish in Montreal, and from what i hear their set in Toronto was just as good. Check out the Essential Mix they did live in Creamfields - upbeat, chuggy, progressive house at its finest.

They also closed the party that night, which may have been another factor why it was half empty, come 6am, the guv crowds gets thinner.
But I really don't know why everyone raggs on Deep Dish, they always put on a good show in Toronto, they've been around our scene forever, and most crowds here love them to death [myself included]. The only fault that I can find to complain about is Ali. If you put him on at the right point of the set, he'll do a great job in bringing the set deep down and still funky, throw him on at the wrong time, and you can get a flat set. But considering when the deep dish spin in Toronto, it's usually for a set longer than 6 hours, I've never been dissapointed with their performances.

I've never even heard of the Bassbin Twins but then again, I've only been in the scene for 8 months or so :P

bassbin twins are friends of ours and we even made a song called "sub" with them under the name BIGTOP

he puts his heart and soul into his show. maybe he had an off night or he was put in the wrong spot in the lineup. that happens all to frequently these days.
