Haven't seen the flyer yet but I heard Thomas Krome is booked to play a party in Toronto Halloween weekend.. it'd be nice if a promoter here picked him up.. granted he just played in May, but I'd like to see him in a club again. This may very well become a roadtrip to the 416 ;)

Well.. if I am not mistaken, you saw him on a Thursday night spinning his weird electro set... ;)
His set the following night was pretty dope! And typical thomas style.. hard swedish beats. :D
He hasn't played Aria since February 2003, back when there were double & triple bills for techno. |

yeah that sucked sooooo much....I never want to see this guy again.....not only the music but the guy himself.......boooring.....just as Mateo Murphy was.....I remember how Mekroon and Jpx just ROCKED them..playing right after....

everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but wow... forever judging thomas krome on some thursday night gig he played with Mateo on the weird experimental side... weak! ;)
did you expect him to play the same bangin' stuff 2 days in a row in the same city, completely different atmospheres?
I have a copy of his set from the following night (my bday w00t), the goooooood stuff.. if you like Chris Liebing & Adam Beyer.. pretty much the same ish.
His set in February 2003 was one of the top sets I think @ Aria for techno all year.
personally I am dying more to see Cari Lekebusch & Joel Mull now.. been too long since they have played these parts. |

Daaaaaamn... Adam X and Greg Gow also on this lineup! :D
Adam X I could do without, though I do prefer him over his brother frankie boner.. but still.. pretty nice evening of techno fo shiz. |

I just cant let that one pass...eeeeeee Frankie Boner!?!? Couldnt he do like his bro and take Y or Z,doesnt his last "artist" name get in the way when he spins vinyls? I imagine during an interview "Why Frankie Boner? - Cause my music gives boners...yeah thats always nice, Frankie Gonads would have been better . |

Haha.. actually.. it IS frankie bones... a friend of mine affectionately refers to him as frankie boner, and I find it almost as amusing as 'Sleep Dish'.. hehe ;)
I think the last time he played montreal was at a 514 party years ago, that was the last time I saw him.. or he played a ray junior party or something. |
