OK, so for some reason, my original file with all of my music files was deleted. Now with itunes, it will not let you play or download a song that is on your library if there is no original file fo which it can be found. My iPod contains more than half of the music on my library.
I just got a new laptop and I uploaded iTunes on it. My question is how do you take song files on your iPod and put them on another computer without erasing all of the songs.
I ask this because my sister took a bunch of songs off my library and hooked hers up on her computer and everything was erased off the iPod. |

when you hook up the iPod, it will ask something along the lines of do you want to set this ipod to this computer. Say no. Doing so will not update all your songs and not erase what isnt there.
If you want to take songs off of your ipod, go to www.versiontracker.com and look for iPod Rip. |
