Excellent CD!
All you people who say this is 'just another ASOT episode', what the hell do you expect him to do??? Conjure up 13 brand new tracks by magic that have never before been played? Or would you prefer him to just play 2nd rate tunes on ASOT just so that he can save the best ones for his CDs?
 |

i think, Armin's problem is he has a show every week. it is impossible to not repeat yourself every week with all the same style and tracks. that's why it seems like it gets boring and mediocre. if Armin would have asots every month instead of every week, half of the bashers would go away. |

Not at all, Armin always manages to dig up dozens of hot new promos and CDRs every week. Why can't he just save some for his livesets or mixalbums like these? And the reason for him playing same styles all the time is obvious: cos the people want him to. |

| Good CD if you don't listen to ASOT every week. |

i think this cd is phenominal.
i am a huge Armin and ASOT fan...
whilst i can understand the so called 'purists' or 'chinstrokers' or however they wish to classify themselves on these forums (such as NELL, who i am getting quite fcukin sick of) see this as just another churned out cd for the masses, this is Armin's sound, so why shouldnt he produce a mixcd which captures his sound.
many great tracks on this cd, all perfectly mixed.. all perfectly sequenced.. i agree. not too keen on the ending of Intruder.. but all the tracks are amazing, and i dont get bored of ANY of them..
especially glad that
07. Deepsky - Talk Like A Stranger (Markus Schulz Mix)
gets onto the cd... that beautiful pounding double bass sound kicking in after Wave Force is awesome!!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
the fact that its mixed live, makes it even better in my opinion.... to hear this as a DVD/CD release would've been awesome... but i wish they would've used a dutch guy to do the intro voice

interesting to see so many people not liking intruder...
its an absolutely phenomenal track...especially dropped live in a club with a great system. |

And that's the crux of it right there ;) |

| So I just got this CD today [bday present for myself] and I'd have to say I enjoy it for the most part, especially the opening w/ Hello Strings. Good solid tracklisting. I'm a little disappointed with the ending tho, i was kind of hoping somehow that it wouldn't fade out like it does. oh well. |

| The fact this p*sses on most trance CDs releases this year and was mixed live says it all really. I heard Armin for well over ten hours in Ibiza this summer and he never disappointed. 'just another ASOT'... er lets see the other top jocks putting together a 2 hour show for free and becoming that popular. I for one cant wait for tonight at the Top 100 DJ Mag party :D |
