The moment I switched the channel to CNN (rarely happnes these days!), I see this reporter that fell right in front of the camera ...It was funny for that split second, 160MPH winds!!!
I hope it misses the next city...If that's even possible |

that brings up another question...if we refer to hurricanes in the female sense...wouldnt it be weird to refer to Ivan as a she????

the naming convention actually alternates between male and female .. back and forth for each hurricane.. i dunno if it's the same in Asia for typhoons, but i think it is..

Used to be just female names but political correctness has thus changed this. I am dead serious when i say that a women's group demanded the change because it was always girls that got picked on when a namesake hurricane caused problems and made the news.
