I was just exploring BonzaiMusic-forums (DJ Fire's sub-section), when I stumbled across the following topic, "Where would you like to see DJ Fire perform a DJ-set?" Well, being the Bonzai fanatic I am, I proposed Jurgen the City of Angels would be more than thrilled to see him play. He stated it's very possible, but not likely to happen unless "A club or bookingagent contacts [him] for gigs in [Los Angeles]..." Here is a background check on DJ Fire's professional carreer: DJ Fire is best-known in the EDM scene as one-half of trance's all-time greatest duos, Fire & Ice (Laurent "L-Vee" Veronnez & Jurgen Leyers). He has also collaborated with the likes of M.I.K.E. (Intimo), E.N.E.R.G.Y. (L-Vee & DJ Fire), Freebase (DJ Fire & Pascal Quatretemps), and many more. Jurgen is also known as one of Belgium's better producers, and is a key player in the Bonzai / Banshee Worx label. He has been featured on several DJ shows by the likes of Global DJ Broadcast & A State of Trance. I bet you're thinking to yourself, "how does such great talent remain so underrated?" Why? I'll tell you why. The answer to that question is fairly simple. He doesn't receive the exposure he deserves because his oppurtunities of playing outside his home country (Belgium) are very limited. But now that DJ Fire has been devoting more of his time to DJing, the option of him playing internationally is very feasible. You guys seem like you need more convincing, no? O.K. Just listen to his GDJB set broadcasted on the 10th of May (05-10-2004) -- or, check out several of his solo productions and/or co-productions, such as, "Para Siempre," "My Galaxy," "Retention" (w/ MIKE), "Out Of Darkness," "San Antonio," "Heart & Mind," "Luminized," "Religion," "Formentera," + many more. If you aren't moved by at least one of these productions, you should probably get your head checked :D Jurgen's DJ-style can be defined as the following: Progressive-edged with a melodic and emotional trance emphasis.
So my proposal is this: Leon, Michelle, Kristina (or any affiliated promoter in the Los Angeles region) who is serious about booking, please, I urge you, do yourselves and the trance community a favor and try and contact Mr. Leyers' management regarding upcoming events.

Thanks for the comment guys! One of you is wrong though about my dj name, I've been playing under the name Dj Fire since 2001. I actually played under the name Energy for a few years long ago, but too many other jocks were already using that name...
