Im glade u added that "most" bc my best friend in this world since we were in public school, he met his girldfriend (now wife for 5 years, and hes only 23, turning 24 at the end of this month) over ICQ back in the day... (and they werent even both form the same region or country.. he lived up here in c'wood, her from kinston, north carolina!!)
thats how it all started for them, now hes living in North Carolina wheres shes from and trully living the the absolutely GOOD LIFE... turned out just amazing for him... definatley the best thing to ever happen to him... never seen him happier in his life...! Im jealous of the way worked out for him.

u know what we failed to consider? those kids aint buying their out of their own money...so if the parents are willingly giving into their demands, of course theyre gonna behave liek princesses

Yeah, that's what I keep telling people, also in the "evil fast food" threads and .
Parents, it's not that in' hard to manage a tween's spending. Just don't give them money! An allowance isn't going to pay for that high-fashion that those smut stores put out. The problem is, parents are too ing lazy to actually shop with their kids, they just hand them a wad of cash and send them to the mall.
We've come a long way from the days of spankings... now parents are afraid to say no to their kids, instead of the other way around. And if your 10-year-old manages to get her hands on something that is totally age-inappropriate... take it away from her! How hard is that?
"B-b-b-but they change at school!" Boo ing hoo, they still have to HAVE SOMETHING TO CHANGE INTO. Just don't give them that , or even better, send them to a school where they have UNIFORMS! |
