| Isn't BT (Brian Transeau) american? He is one of the greatest DJs/producers i know. He has done a lot of wonderful stuff during the years. |

He is indeed American. However American DJ's like Christopher Lawrence are virtually unknown anywhere out of the US. |

I think American Dj's have a huge effect on the industry, just not for the genre of music were all here for.
But if you look at he House side of things:
Danny Tenaglia
Junior Vasquez
Lil Louie Vega (who's part of Masters at work)
Eric Morillo
Roger Sanchez
David Morales
We also have a strong showing in Techno, since we invented it an all.

Indeed. He's my favorite DJ (as you can see from my sig).
Unfortunately his style has changed over the last year, but he's still a great DJ and true artist. Not many DJ's are artists, even the famous ones, but he is. |
