Really nicely done once again Corentin. Finally got around to download your 4 th mix.
As you said it is really nice and encouraging for u and me to see, this kind of response for ambient/chillout music. And this is in regards to the show I am planning to get going soon.
Well, I might as well put a little pre-announcement here, for those who will read my post here.
Trancesphere.com and ets-global.org are in the process of merging right now to give the new www.ETN.fm . This new site will provide the possibility of having an enormous amount of listeners, new and reliable 192 kbps bitrate streams, 2 different streams/channels (one for trance and one for prog), bunch of new and talented residents djs who are known in the trance world as djs and producers ,and still in the process to recruit new ones, and other real cool features.
Now for me and my shows, will be featuring my show Atmospheres bimonthly on the trance stream, and monthly on the prog stream.
On top of that i am also planning to start my new show "DREAMSCAPES" : This will be for melodic/deamy style ambient/chillout tunes, very similar to Corentin's mixes. I actually invited Corentin to feature his future mixes on the show, besides mine. I am also searching for other chillout dj/producers to provide me guest mixes. My mixes will not be digitally mixed at the start. Will take the challenge to do them more live using my cdjs mostly. Ambient mixing, is as Corentin already mention, "pretty different", than mixing with 4/4 beats.
But now the thing is that "Dreamscapes" will only be given a few tries. The ETN.fm crew recently told me that they will want to see enough listeners for such a show to continue and stay, as ETN.fm is designed to play trance and prog music. Dreamscapes will be played on the prog stream. So I will really be relying on U the listeners, to bring this show to a success.
As some already mentioned, it is pretty hard to find good ambient/chillout mixes without being too jazzy or housey these days. So this will be my attempt to do something about it with the help of others.
This style of music is really underplayed i think, and I know there is a lot of people out there, who would really love such a concept for a show.
Anyways, when things will be made official, I will make different threads/post on different sites, to inform everyone and to try to get as many listeners possible.
Thank you Corentin for starting something yourself with your awesome and inspiring mixes.
Cheers
David Emonin

Downloaded these ages ago at the start of October, not bored of them yet - don't think I'll ever be
Really glad that you made a number 4, I feel the 'series' is complete now - it's a brilliant set (just like the others :tongue2 !)
There seriously is some great talent in this forum, good luck to you! |

its looks like you have to create a new account to get the downloads. But that doesnt take too long.
Downloading now, I've also been looking for some good chillout music, and I prefer to listen to "unknown" DJ's so this should be a treat |
