Price Of Vinyl

I think the price of vinyl is too high. Vinyl is like $12.99 - $20.00 PLUS SHIPPING(since i'm in the USA where record shops are extinct).
Paying that for 2 songs is really a bunch of crap . I'm 13 and I can't dish out $18 every day for new record. Hopefully in the summer I'll have a job since 14 is legal working age, and I'll get some more vinyl. But it is definately too high . |

| Yup, but we still go out and buy them, why?, cos there more addictive than crack. |

^^^ I was just mentioning that I hate you for getting me addicted to DJing and Vinyl.... yet I still go out week after week and spend money that I really don't have or shouldn't be spending and get more thin layers of black wax....

| Well I too have the same problem, but mainly because I'm buying a new TT set of 2 sl-1210MK5 and Djm-600S. So I'll have enough money for vinyls next month. I don't think vinyls are too expensive if you're a working individual + the sheer collecting is sooooo addictive :D |

Try buying from http://www.chemical-records.co.uk...even with shipping to the USA, it's about $10 per record, sometimes cheaper. For records to reach Los Angeles, it takes about a week so it's not too bad. |

Just like a crack addiction, you get the money anyway possible... :haha: :haha:
Sleeydragon - as for chemical, I do know they have a great selection (atleast for what I look for) but I have had problem recieving from them which isn't really there fault... Canadian customs:whip:
But I do find they are reasonably prices compare to what I have to pay at my local shops.. I was saving between 30-70 per order of 10 records on Chemical... so I can't see how they are a rip off... |
