wuts up guys, aiight i got this 30 minute show i have to do for my TV production class and its due in a month. i am doin it on...

How the government tries to shut everything down
Rock the Vote
Opinions - interviews of people (clubbers)(NYTA's)
so i really need your help guys. i am thinkin of interviewin some of u guys and just ask u some questions about clubs and how the election is important and how they are involving the club scene to help (rock the vote) i am gonna do some footage in avalon and other clubs to show what its really all about... so guys help a NYTA and let me kno if you want to be a part of this. PM or IM me @ DiabloSV41 . this show is gonna be broadcasted live on the web so all u guys can see it. i kno im gonna make this fun but i need you guys cause i dont wanna ask random ppl clubbin questions because they dont kno sh*t and all of u do!!!

a good addition to this would be the survival of small time parties like our party TFST or homegrown or even Vic's loft parties (outside the NYC Club scene) but a solid attribution to the culture. getting caught up in nightlife politics will only lead you down ethical issues. drug use, mob ties, who has pull and why, doormen, club owners and their drug dealers, the usual portrayal of the social scene. becareful, there is endless content on legal issues which you might find yourself referring to quite often.
get familiar with the main restrictions (smoking, liquor license, drugs, cabaret license) tie it all in with international talent and the audience it attracks. the prospect of local dj's aspiring to be big.
there are so many ways you can attack this project - perhaps watch Ibiza's Children Documentry (from an attendee point of view). from the party thrower's prespective...the list goes on...
nonetheless - good topic choice!

Hey you should use that video about clubbing in Ibiza to help you out(the one in the video section of this site). Maybe like how to sequence things.(i think it was nicely done)

| aiight everybody im shooting this weekend, im tryin to get in touch with avalon n spirit n other places to see if they would let me shoot inside for a little bit.... i do need ur help though and i am doin this for october 28TH so if anybody wants to be part of it i would really appreciate it, i do need a couple ppl to interview birefly about clubbin n voting...... so step up to the plate guys!!!! |
