Virus/Sound diver help

I just bought a Virus C (desktop) and im trying to get familiar with it through sounddiver. I loaded some patches with sound diver through "import midi file" and it went to my Bank A.
Now I click on for EX: patch A038bass in sounddiver and when i look at my virus display The patch does not update/match itself to the patch A038bass that i had picked in sounddiver. Instead it will say on the LCD the previous bank i was in. Is this normal or is there something wrong here?

btw: my patches match up when its in multimode though.

controller out-->1820M in2
virus out-->1820M in1
virus in -->1820M out1
OS.6.5

sounddiver is a waste of bits... just use your sequencer to playback the patch (midi file) into your virus.

you're spinning your wheels using soundiver... i learned that the hard way.

ya sound diver is a bitch, it works 50/50
I have been just learning my way thru the actual virus instead.

I'm going to say something that noone has said yet:

DUMP THE F-N SH!TDIVER!!! :)

Seriously, I had nothing but problems with it. eghhh... a true waste of bits, IMHO.

Hey man, how's my kC working' out for ya? You lovin' it or what??? BTW, my patches (if still there) are named with either "KU" or "<-" after them. I forgot to get them off too!

I recently bought a used Virus b and I can't keep my hands off of it. I've been using all software for a while now and the Virus just blows the software synths out of the water (even Reaktor). I think I'm gonna switch to hardware synths now... There is a definate difference!
