seems like none of the many american TAs dare post here yet. maybe if they win a lot of matches today they might show their faces, or just try to invent another sport so they can 'be the best at it' :p |

My the americans made a right up of it.
Only watched it cos I'm bored out of my Tree.
The irish national anthem was sang in English by some backward hillbilly ******. It's insulting considering that the Team consists of 3 Irish players.
Of course the US anthem was sang beautifully while a pair of F16 flew overhead.

which makes the fact that irish, english, scottish, spanish, french, german etc etc can team up and beat them feel more satisfying |

Its not as bad as 5 years ago at Brookline. Aparently during the practice rounds the Europeans were going round signing autographs and spending time getting photos, one of them even waited while a woman checked on the digital cam and the said nah we can do better than that n took another, while the yanks just went round n shunned most of them |

hahaha....notice the absence of Americans in this thread?? They don't like to talk about things when they're not winning. :D
The American galleries at these events are so ANNOYING. They heckle European players (though nothing too outrageous has happened yet) and shout stupid things like U.S.A.!!! Losers....they should ban beer from golf events in the US. At least in Europe, the crowds are very respectful of good golf, from EITHER side.
Right now, it's 9-4 for Europe...I hope it ends up 11-5. |

I know the galleries in the USA are absolutely disgusting (cheering Sergio's ball down the slope, etc)....but if the Europeans can't win ONLY THREE matches, they don't deserve to win it again. |

| Mickelson doesn't seem that cocky, I remember him talking away to the fans when the parctising for the open at Troon a few years ago (not this year). The one I currently dislike is Di Marco, hes more of a cheerleader than a golfer at the moment! |

| I think the most disappointing thing is that some of the Europeans are being booed by the Yank fans, while it's one thing to support your team, disrespecting people like this is just wrong imho |
