| I do agree that some sort of pricing information should be posted. Or something that says "For people with fat wallets only"! 21 bux is insane! That's another full tank of gas! |

| Actually the 407 now has agreements with collection agencies in the US. So Americans now have to pay as well. And thats a good thing. Why should I subisdize their free ride? |

Yea tell me about it. I live between Kennedy and Steels (Pacific Mall Area) and Birchmount and Steels. There 2 of the most fatal intersections in Toronto. Sometimes I wonder if they just drop a few hundreds in the passenger seat as the instructer gets in |

Wow, didn't expect to get this many replies haha.
We definately saw all the signs that said toll road ahead, and on our mapquest directions it said toll road, so we didn't have a problem paying a toll. I just don't think it tells you it's all automatic, and it definately didn't say anything about being $21.
The funniest part is we didn't tell my girlfriend's parents that we were going to Canada haha... so we had to explain that one to them. :)
Haha Highway 407 made our Canada "adventure" even better... we were searched on the way there at the border, as well as on the way back... apparently driving 6 hours to a club then driving 6 hours back right away is suspicious activity. I call it dedication on a budget. :p |

| Don't complain over $27. My dad's monthly average is over $200. :) |

Sure, they'll send it to collections - but currently they have no non-payment recourse agreements with any jurisdiction.
Which means you'll just get calls from the collection agency forever - you won't get your license suspended. |

but what kinda effect will that have on your credit rating?? is it really worth it over 21 Canadian dollars? |

My totals going to NC were 14$ usd so don't complain.. i had construction & all that as upposed to a nice clean paved 407...
Works out to a similar amount but the 27$ probably saved you 30mins - hour driving time, so you can ask yourself if it's worth it..
BTW for you torontonians, 407 is now offering "free transponder" promotion, so if you don't have one i'd sign up for it asap |

None.
If a bank isn't going to give somone a mortgage over a $21 disputed note on a credit report - than that person has bigger problems to deal with. |
