Info Needed on Montreal's Trance/prog scene...

I am writing on behalf for a company interested in starting a large underground Trance(Dark, Hard, German, Prog,all sorts) clubnight in Montreal...Is this only a rumour that Montreal is a House/Hip hop city???

theres too many tranceaddicts in MTL! the only prob is , no Media or ADDs for that. Thats why its low. Everybody go for cheesy commercialized music.
For instance "we" TAs if we ever come up with a plan we'd open a club for Pure Trance/Progressive/Hard House type of style.And i bet lots of people would come.
Main Trance/Progressive/Hard house clubs in mtl are Aria , Sona , Stereo , Redlight , but still its not taken to a higher level.
Hell if i get a loft i'd turn it to a club and mix all day/night! |

the problem with montreal is that it's full of wanna be 'electronica addicts' and candy kids , sincerly it's pretty rare to see people 100% into trance or prog. house , montreal is unfortunately a 'punk rock' city , everywhere u go u hear this crappy kind of music ... |

and when its underground, its all bangin house and techno....if you do disagree with this statement then you are a total retard and have never been to more than 5 clubs |

yes if u bring every month one famous dj (one month pvd , then tiesto , then armin , then ferry , then etc ...) . but if ur going to bring mickey mouse djs just forget about it ... |

and do look for Local Djs (unknown like me *caugh*) that u can count on!! More trancy (Tiesto Style!!!) cuz apparently all Djs play progressive which is nice but comon gimme a break! |

...your forgeting PROG !!! It's full of progressive in Mtl...Aria, Ginxi, Grooved, Newtown...etc. |
