I emailed Darude, no reply. :(

I actually do reply as much as I have time. I also read my forum daily, at least I try and get back to people if I find a question interesting/a good one.

I must say that getting back to people comes second, spending my time in the studio making music or being on the road spinning/playing live first... At the moment I have a couple hundred backlogged (?) emails, some from a couple of months ago...

since I write for ivibes.nu, I email a ton of producers/deejays/artists who usually always reply to my emails. I won't bother name dropping because it means nothing to me who I email. It is just part of getting the job done.

anyways i've talked to DJ Dan via email a few times waaay back in the day. he was my fav around 96-97. what a cool guy!! i wish i could make it to see him at whistle 4 in philly. last time i saw him was at club exit in NYC few years ago.

my most interesting DJ email story was from Josh Gabriel somehow sending me an email dated from 1969....heheh

most emailing ive done towards the like of Max Graham and other Djs, perse, ends up being fruitful and great - just check his (maxs) msg boards! I feel that DJs are even bigger dicks in person in certain circumstances. yet you always seem to meet DJs that when you run into someone like a certain KT (from Detroit) whom endlessly promotes themself, yet holds him/herself to a higher standard than the fans, its about as lame as celebrity can be.

Personally most of my favorite DJs are just cool people that actually deal with the fans, and that goes a bit farther.....|
