| ye i was at Cream closing 2002 and 2003..I can safely say 2002 was far far better...unreal in fact..PVD played till roughly 9:15am..unreal it was..Last yr(03) think he played til somewhere between 8am + 9am..some of the things he did in 2002..unreal..words cant describe...Cafe Del mar(ambient mix)--played for a couple of mins...room gettin quite bright..was after 8am..main room about 2 thirds full..people in a state of trance..unreal ! |

I was also at the closing party in 2002, it was breath taking, i made a list of tunes that he played when i got back to the U.K but at the time i wasn't on TA, might try and find it and post them!!!!!
Yeah when he played Cafe Del Mar (Michael Woods Ambient Remix) for must have been 5 minutes then out of no where smashed in the "Three In One Remix" straight into it, i was totally crippled at the time but that got me dancing like it was the beginning of the night again!!!
One of the best moments in my life that night :D sadly the 2003 one was no where near hence me no going to this years closing party |

No way u remember it oo ye..was amazing alrite..The way he blended the 3 in 1 mix from the breakdown into the ambient mix..Like we were hearing the ambient mix for the guts of 5mins then all of a sudden staright into the break of the 3 in 1..was unreal..by any chance do u wear glasses coz there was a guy at the 2002 one i saw and saw him at 2003 aswell but he had a vandit tshirt at 2003 one..i said to him..where u here last yr aswell coz i remember his face for some reason..small guy well compared to me(im 6ft 2)..is this u? |

Sort of remember someone talking to me at last years saying they saw me a 2002, but i was pretty wasted so might have not said much....sorry!!!!!
Theres a couple of Egyptians that i have seen at Gatecrasher Sheffield, Casino Berlin and Amnesia Ibiza, crazy the amount of PvD nutters there are out there :) |

I was in the DJ booth for well over an hour and i definitely remember seeing it on there.
The new mix of 'For An Angel' he played appears to be some kind of Marc van Linden Remix.
As for 'Blue Monday' i think it might be a John Askew Edit.
Paul also played Reflekt - Need To Be Loved if memory serves. |

This is what I suspected the first time I heard it in December. So I asked John about it next time I saw him out and he said he hadn't passed his edit onto anyone. It's also definitely not the cass mix to whoever said that above. |
