So it's Saturday night and I'm at home, nerdin' it up on the PC. Why? Well that's because I had the worst week ever for work-related injuries! First off, my right arm is covered in poison ivy...itches like a mofo, looks like herpes or something. Second, I attained a corneal abrasion (scratched the surface of my eye) following an eye-poking incident while tending to a garden. So now my eye is so swollen that I can barely open it, not to mention the pain is so bad that it also prevents me from having it open. I look like Quasimodo. On the plus side, the Doc gave me Tylenol 3s w/codeine, so I'm nice and numb ATM. I also have 3 kinds of eye-drops I have to take. One is an anti-inflammatory, one is an antibiotic, and one is a lubricant. Oh yeah, and of course I have to put prescription cream on my arm 3x a day. All this medication cost me nearly 100 dollars. And how big is the scratch? It covers almost all of the colored part of my eye, in other words, it's pretty goddam big!!

Bahahahaha! No. But I've seen lots of pretty pictures of it in my Nursing texts.

Damn Jenny. I'm so sorry to hear that. :( I know somewhat how you're feeling though. Less than 2 weeks ago I got into a car wreck and am stuck at home unable to move without transportation. I'm at the mercy of whoever decides to come get me or if someone ill let me borrow a car.
I sincerely hope you get well soon. :)

I'm staying in for once as well, although, I must say that Jennypie would be crazy if she did anything but stay home... I had poison ivy once too, UGH.
So why am I in? Well, I drank a little too much absinthe last night celebrating a buddys bday and I didn't sleep much and now it caught up with me.

I'm staying in aswell because I wanna pay off my debts and get set-up for next summer (and buy a new comp this year). |
