so school (college) was startin again for the fall semester......and I ofcourse got a couple books on ebay....
so I put up this one book, one which isnt anywhere else on ebay.....so, I get some emails, people saying its the only one on there, that they really need it etc....so I get like 3 bids.....goes for about 50 bucks....im real happy, I'll get half my money back, will help cover this semesters books etc.....
so the auction ends.....and like always, I contact the winning bidders and ask them how theyd like to pay etc. (not cuz im curious, but because there had been an address change) ....so the winning bitch contacts me ONCE saying she's gonna "mail the money tomorrow", I respond immediately notifying her if she's gonna do money order/check, to send to a diff address.....well, I basically never hear from her again after hectic numerous tries for days.....
blah blah blaaaah long story short, the bitch never replied, the second bidder already bought another book offline or something im guessing, and the third bidder bidded way too low.....
ofcourse now its not selling at all.....
ing newbie ass buyers......dont in bid unless you plan on buying it and can keep in touch with the seller...... |

You know...now that i think of it i havnt eaten peanuts in a long time.
Oh yeah, and too bad about that book thing. I know that my brothers school had this thing where students could sell their books back to the school, and then the school would basically sell it back to students for the same price. |

what info, the mailing address? Hell no. Its provided automatically, but the address had changed.
I contacted the seller before she even emailed me, and I asked how she would like to pay, intentionally, so I could provide an address, email or physical. She responds a day or two later, "i'll mail the money tomorrow", and that was the end of that. I immediately contacted her to tell her DO NOT send to the address given to her via ebay, and gave her a new one.
Now assuming she did send it to the old address, she would have contacted by now saying "I havent received the book yet, sorry didnt get your email fast enough", so im 99% sure she bailed out before she even mailed it.
If she just responded to my first email properly (aka, actually reading it), this wouldnt have been a problem. |

file a non-paying bidder form so at least you get your listing fee covered, and then leave neg feedback. noobies suck eh. they don't realize after they win they actually have to do something else to get the item.
or what gets me is the people: "hey man i just won your auction for the DJ mixer and, well, its such a nice mixer but i don't have enough to pay for it yet... when i get paid 2 more paychecks from work i will send the money ASAP." thanks douche, if i wasn't struggling to get the money right now would i EVER sell any records or DJ equipment i own? some noobles think ebay items are on layaway or something. Or the seller will finance the item for them.... yah, let me get $0 down, $12 a month, cool...? |
