Really nice tune..

Nice tune again here, love it after the first breakdown, that gated melody is superb :) Third stage of the tune is great as well, with that nice pad, it moves really well.
But I can't stand the first melody synth [1:22-], the brassy one. Imagine your song playing in a big room, with lots of messed up people wanting to dance their asses off. And then imagine in comes that little bitty brassy synthy ... |

good perc buildup - is there reverb on the bassdrum - cause it gets a little lost in the mix when the bassline comes in (bassline is still nice)
dissagree about the brassy sound (pho mo), it would be mixed over anyway
tis better mastered now
clap seems better =)
it has lost a little drive though (I think due to the sub-bass strangely)
4:00 is nice - as is 4:20
the mix seems a little too bass heavy - I'd do a +2-3db from 300-18000hz
(actually - when you do this even with winamps eq - all the drive comes back - do it ASAP!!!) |

There is an extra oomph layer in the kick, i could make it a tad shorter, but I actually like the way the kick is. Maybe the bass has a little too much low end...
Made the clap some dryer.
I like the brassy sound actually.
I'll have a look at the subbass and bass, there's a little delay on it which could give some mud. It will be less wide but I think there will be more energy. Thanks for the advice guys!! |

comments as i listen
nice kick.. pretty bassey and the short decayed hi-hats sound nice
upper bass thingy sounds nice.. comes in quite well with the main bass
bass sounds a little muddy/conflicting..
lead sounds nice..
it sort of lets you down at 2:45.. not what you where expecting and I dont really like what it does give..
pretty cool at 4:22.. but supersaws.. ugh.. thought trance has gotten post those...
the supersaw doesn't really sound good.. hardly has a melody and the EQing is sort of weird..
the EQing is good for most of the track (except the supersaw) but the entire track could use a bit of a boost from a final mix compression |
