I've heard great things about ultra lounge.

can i get some feedback on this place from anyone.

i heard it was very up-scale. I passed by for a drink to check it out and it seems that its vip only. They broads in the line outside were supermodel quality and extremely cool.

I haven't had time to visit Ultra, but when I do ... I wanna invite everyone here to join me and have a drink or two.

LOL even someone I know who dresses like me, had to dress up and bling it out at Ultra.

Ultra is amazingly designed. Its a lounge/restaurant. Very posh. Im sure you can call in for a reservation. Maybe their policy has changed, now that theyve gained some momentum. Its owned and was designed by no other than Charles Khabouth.
Its actually the old bamboo on queen street. An expensive place for sure, has great food.....but I cant say enough about the design, you just have to see it for urself.

this place is pretty incredible...i havent been myself but there was a show on the food network about building resteraunts from scratch..basically had all the designers, head chefs and charles running around like headless chickens in the months leading upto the opening. At the end of the show the place looked Amazing...im scared to even think about going cuz of the damage it'll do to the ol wallet...

Ultra Supper Club

Owned by Charles Kahbouth (Guv owner)

I was there for the first time last thursday for a film festival event with Deep Dish. The venue is superbly designed and the feel is that of muted and dark decadence. There are elements that vaguely echo designs used in the Guv complex and the sound is excellent for a dinner/club hybrid.

The crowd at best is highly mixed and an odd blend and at worst a catalogue for upscale pretention. Dress up or you probably won't feel comfortable.

The layout is my only solid complaint...although from restaurant reviews they are lacking in service and food quality; both of which I didn't bother with. Back to the layout: The booth is set into a cozy corner but in front where dancing should reside is a row of low slung couches and heavy shag rugs. The main open dance space is on the other side of the venue far removed from the DJ and blocked by eating booths and drapery. This is all wrong to those of us in it for the music...but the posh, money crowd who seem to attend could careless about DJ/crowd interaction so it remains unfixed.

Pricey but not without merit.....I'd go back...maybe
