V-Station Novastation problem in Cakewalk
I purchased this have the original discs and all
but im having trouble with it in Cakewalk Home Studio.
I know this is not the best sequencer but the trouble I am having is when i record a patch to a midi track,and save and close the sequencer and go back and reopen the project
the track i just saved the V-station patch on is still there
but sounds nothing like what i originally recorded its sounds like
a organ or piano rather than a trance synth,all of my other synths patches are all there and sound fine
I am thinking about re-installing the software but thought id see if
anyone else has this problem first.
this problem is ony with V-station ,maybe im doing something wrong if anyone has the same problem
and knows what to do let me know.

| Perhaps you haven't taken note of the fact that there are different devices to select when recording AND playing midi. When you record it with a sythesizer while selecting the computer soundcard as the OUTPUT device, you will hear the synths from your soundcard and not from your synthesizer. |
