Since the other comments got messy:
System was great overall. With the exception of the bewildering delimma brought up in the other thread i had an amazing time. The opening djs played some sweet funky house and had the crowd going. Demitrie started off a little too jazzy for my likeing but got the groove going quite nicely.
The crowd was older for sure. They seemed to be there for the music. Quite friendly as well. I saw a lot of industry ex-pats also so that was cool. I love how house crowds seem to bounce when they dance. You can tell a house crowd when the whole crowd seems to be bouncing as if the floor were made of rubber.
The smoking area is a joke. The city needs to do something about these dumb laws because clubs will suffer very soon with winter coming.

Jay...it's time to get over it. The majority of people in this world have realized the detraments of smoking and are no longer willing to suck on the tail pipe of others habits. Even most smokers realize and are respectful of the new standard by accepting that they can no longer subject others to their harmful smoke...why can't you?
Glad you had a good time though :D |

i dont want to get into the smoking debate yet again but i will say that we will see thr true effects of this law in the winter.
I hope clubs like system survive with the setup they have now. |

| I agree with you...there is a plausable risk to attendance levels but it needed to be done and every club is in the same boat. Regardless, if people stop going to enjoy the best music we both love Jay, because their habit is more important and they cannot adapt then those are people who shouldn't be there to begin with. |
